A good part of what Shirona does as a saniwa deals with corruption, death and accompanying emotional baggage - in fact, she carries some of it herself, which should be noticeable by other saniwas and swords. If you would prefer me not to tag you with her, please let me know, as well as any concerns you might have!

Oda Shirona [ 織田 白儺 ] | 22-24 | 170cm | VA: Romi Park | PB: Chitaru Namatame from Akuma no Riddle
Shirona's past is actually not too different from the other saniwas - an ordinary teenager living a mundane life, until she was approached by the government to join the saniwa cause. She summoned her first tsukumogami, went on her first sortie, did everything that other saniwas would do. She chose to learn swordsmanship to be able to fight alongside her swords. Everything was normal... until she had her first exposure to the corruption that plagued the swords.
Unlike other saniwas who shunned it and saw something to be prevented, she became fascinated and tried to find a way to use it for their cause. The nature of the corruption she deals with stems from negative emotions being repressed into vicious cycles. Once she found out the true nature of what she saw, she decided to take it for herself - to turn the swords' weakness into their strength. And thus, the informally named 'chaos squad' was born.
As its name implies, the chaos squad is chaotic. It's Shirona's one and only team, given that all of its members are corrupted to a certain extent and finding new recruits is exceedingly difficult. Due to its very nature, they are shunned by other swords, either seeing them as violent/basal or fearing their 'evil' nature. While it is true that the current members are definitely more predisposed to fighting, they do have their corruption under control. By accepting their negative and basal emotions instead of denying them, they are able to not lose their minds and benefit from the increase in fighting prowess that corruption confers. In this sense, they are much closer to their instincts and 'animistic' basal emotions than the other swords - they are coarse, boisterous, and actively rampage on the field of battle. Several (most notably Iwatooshi) even enter a 'phaseshift' mode where they actively allow corruption to come over them in order to achieve even higher levels of wreckage. As expected, this squad works mostly alone - despite the high amount of friendly fire that can come with having them on the field, they are the ones who will be able to fend off KBCs without significant amounts of damage. So there is a slight amount of grudging respect that swords will generally accede to them.
As for the squad itself, they are a very tightly knit group, as most outcasts are. Shirona welcomes anyone and everyone, as long as they can do their job, and over time even pure swords will accumulate corruption to some extent. She allows her swords to leave anytime if they don't like working with her, thus only a handful have remained. Even her first sword deserted her for a purer saniwa - which she doesn't mind, because that's just how things are. To gain more rapport with her swords, she allowed corruption to come over herself as well. Thus her nickname, kuso saniwa, or kusoniwa - since people usually don't like her or her swords, for a variety of reasons. But she really doesn't care, because as long as she does her job, she's fine with that. She is also positive for Huntington's Syndrome, which explains why she's so reckless and fatalistic.
So, what does this mean?
Basically, Shirona is a 'dark saniwa' of sorts. She and her swords carry corruption with them, which can be sensed by others, and it becomes visible when she is accessing her magic - glowy eyes, black thunder, etc. She fights with two blades, and can use her corruption magic to bind and hamper enemy swords. Due to her unique condition, she can heal herself to some extent, and stall infection on other swords by... hacking off infected parts. Of course, this stalls, but does not cure, so the eventual overcoming of corruption will depend on the will of the sword itself. As for her squad, the chaos squad - all of them have accepted their inner darkness and grow stronger through the process.
You are free to assume prior knowledge of her existence, and have your character dislike/avoid her if it's IC.
Who's in her squad, then?
I change her team composition based on scenario, but for now Iwatooshi and Dotanuki are probably staple members. Generally, you can just assume she only has four or five with her at any point in time. She doesn't forge, and most of her drops desert her.
I don't want my character to get tagged by her!
Sure, just let me know with a PM or PP. I'll hit you with my other guys instead!
